Another fresh entry from Tom Gasparoli upon the 4th anniversary of Faith's tragedy, primarily to report that ABC's 20/20 broadcast will focus on the case in an upcoming episode (according to Tom, probably this coming Friday or the next Friday -- ADDENDUM: as of 9/16/16 still not shown so stay tuned). Just another reminder that this case will NOT fade from memory, fade from coverage, fade from people's thoughts, nor fade from the consciences of all those complicit... it is with you forever... and forever is a long time.
Let's all hope this national exposure may jar a memory, or jar some sliver of humanity into coming forth and break the Faith Hedgepeth case wide open.
ADDENDUM:
A new article in local press has police calling the case still “very active” and claiming
that LE ”anticipates additional information being made public ‘in the coming weeks and months’ that police feel will help further the investigation”... so guess we’ll see if there’s any veracity to that.
Has anyone suggested the theory that the text messages from Faith's phone were actually sent by K. Rosario in an effort to cover up. Is it also possible that Karena was reaching out to Brandon in effort to get him to help cover the crime scene? It seems that the police have ruled out the voicemail coming from the crime scene based solely on the texts that followed later in their timeline. Also, did Eriq have a Latino friend at the time ? Is Brandon Edwards Latino? Brandon may have been there and knew that he'd left his phone at home.
ReplyDelete1) All sorts of theories have been suggested to support 'cover-up' scenarios of the crime; but very speculative without much direct evidence to support them.
ReplyDelete2) I believe police pinpoint the "voicemail" (I assume you mean the 'butt dial') to the night club both by cell phone ping data and by matching some background noise/music to the night club.
3) Latinos are a high enough proportion of the population in the area that it certainly wouldn't be unusual for Eriq or Brandon to have several Latino friends, or for there to be several Latinos at The Thrill on any given night.
I think many of us are waiting to see how the whole Latino angle plays out (is it just another wild goose chase or will it go somewhere?), since the police say it brought on 100s of new leads -- most of which I assume can be pretty quickly dismissed... but is there one good one in there somewhere? Will we have to wait for yet another anniversary of the crime, next September, to even hear again from law enforcement???
